Preparing to Sell Your Home
The process of getting your home ready to sell can be overwhelming. After all, selling a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions you will make. And even if you want to move, making the transition takes a lot of planning especially if it’s your beloved home of many decades.
There is decluttering, selling furniture or items you no longer need, endless amounts of cleaning, painting, repairs, and landscaping. So where do you begin? Begin with Cobb Brothers.
“Having gone through the process of downsizing my parents from a home they lived in for over 50 years, I know firsthand how stressful it can be and that’s why Cobb Brothers Company has created an all-in-one plan to make the process of getting your home ready to sell less stressful.”
Cobb Brothers will do more than just painting.
Here is how we can help -
1) Declutter: We can provide dumpsters for you as you prioritize and sort thru what you want to keep, store, toss or donate. If you need assistance while sorting through your attic, basement, sheds etc., we are happy to help.
2) Painting: Painting a home’s interior and exterior is one of the most common pre-listing tasks. When painting to sell, it is best to choose a light neutral tone for the interior. In many cases, a quick coat of paint can make all the difference in how your home looks in the eyes of a potential buyer.
4) Floors: Refinishing or installing hardwood floors just might be the one thing that differentiates your house and gets it sold. Cobb Brothers have experienced floor installers that will get your floors looking good as new.
5) Cleaning: A big part of selling your house is making sure it’s clean. Knowing where to clean to impress prospective buyers is important. You don’t want to lose a sale because you forgot to dust light fixtures or missed washing fingerprints from the tile backsplash. Cobb Brothers will ensure that everything is cleaned and ready for potential buyers to see.
6) Curb Appeal: The exterior of your home is the first thing buyers see, both online in listing photos and when they see your home in person. Poor curb appeal can even cause a potential buyer to decide it is not worth coming inside. Improving curb appeal can be as easy as planting some flowers, edging the lawn, painting the front door, changing outdated hardware or light fixtures, and adding accent lighting.
7) Roofing: We can replace an entire roof or patch damaged areas.
